A non profit organization is an organization that takes specific action to benefit members of a specific population or community, or to solve some sort of specific problem or issue.
Here at Moneyless Society, we have chosen to become a 501c3 non profit organization with the following aims and objectives –
1. Universal Basic Goods and Services – We will be teaching individuals, families, communities, and other organizations how to sustainably and cost-effectively produce housing, food, clothing, education, childcare, water, electricity, transportation, and more, so that people can live sustainably at minimal or no cost.
2 Forming Multiple Cooperatives – We will develop and implement numerous cooperative businesses that support sustainable and/or regenerative practices, while providing a more participatory/democratic ownership/equity model to individuals, families, organizations, and communities.
3. Building Demonstration Communities – We will develop one or more demonstrable, replicable community models premised on ecologically sustainable and/or regenerative practices, optimal automation and technological implementation, and democratic and/or participatory ownership/equity, for the purpose of providing Universal Basic Goods and Services to individuals, families, and communities around the globe.
In addition to this, our non profit organization will also conduct:
- Outreach and Partnering with other Organizations – We will provide all demographics with free access to information about sustainable practices, self-sufficiency, regenerative agriculture, free/low-cost higher education, technological optimization, and more, via partnering with local institutions such as schools, community outreach programs, and any other organizations or entities that wish to collaborate.
2. All such other lawful things as may be considered to be incidental and/or conducive to the attainment of any or all of the above objects.
Moneyless Society as a Non Profit Organization
In becoming a non profit organization we hope to achieve these goals within our local communities, and on a national or international scale.
In this regard, we view ourselves as a non profit organization that truly wants to not just solve the problems created by the scarcity inherent in the capitalist system, but also build the systems and structures that will bring social justice to many impoverished and disadvantaged communities around the globe.
It is the mission of our non profit organization to fully realize the goals of universal basic goods and services within demonstration communities and networks of cooperatives around the globe. We will be united in our purpose of regenerating the environment and creating equitable social structures in a variety of circumstances and situations.
We believe that workers should own their companies and benefit directly from the work that they do — not just business owners. We also think that everybody should be able to have access to universal basic goods and services, regardless of who they are, or what they do. Everybody should have a level playing field to start. And that is what we hope to achieve through the use of technology, cooperatives, open-source tools, regenerative agriculture, agroecology, and more.
